Derwentwater Foreshore Project

The Derwentwater Foreshore Project is a partnership between the site owners, users, local people and conservation organisations to restore the site, improve the long-term management and increase opportunities for visitors and locals alike.

To represent the shoreline of Derwentwater (near Keswick in Cumbria) I took inspiration from the jetties used by the pleasure boats. Combined with the blue of the lake and the rolling hills and mountains that surround it.

The logo was developed to be used in horizontal and vertical formats, with the square shape of the icon on its own adding another option.
