Branding and Logos

"Maximum impact, minimum means."
                                                     Abram Games

Abram Games has to be my favorite graphic designer. He is best remembered for his poster designs during the Second World War and for the Festival of Britain in 1951. Its his principle of maximum impact with minimum means that inspires me to do likewise.

To me a logo is the distillation of a company or individual's values, aspirations and ethos, contained in a device that is simple, elegant and adaptable across all media..

The brand is an expansion of the logo, giving it rules and a place to be recognised. The brand too reflects the company but it must take its lead from the logo.

Here are some logos I have designed together with some that have yet to be implemented or have sadly been lost along the way.
